Cost Estimate

To receive a free cost estimate for cataloging services, please send us an email (musicmetadatasolutions@gmail.com) with the as many of the following details that you can specify. Estimates are acceptable.

  1. Name of Institution
  2. Catalog Website
  3. Your Name

  7. Brief description of the project (including the number of titles to be cataloged)
  8. Does the project include copy as well as original cataloging (indicate the percentage of each)
  9. Formats that will be used, and approximate percentage in each format (books, scores, sound recordings, video recordings, etc.)

Typical Flourish Projects

  1. Cataloging current receipts in music. In one scenario, 3,000 score and sound recording titles are cataloged annually; for two other universities, 1,000 score and sound recording titles are cataloged annually; in another situation, Flourish catalogs all current receipts of Finnish books on music; for a small university, Flourish catalogs approximately 100 score titles annually.
  2. Cataloging backlogs. For a university in the Southeast, cataloging a backlog of 2600 musical scores and sound recordings; for an East-coast university, cataloging 400 books about music, with 125 of the books in Slavic languages.
  3. Cataloging gift collections. For a university in the Southwest, cataloging a collection of 600 opera vocal scores; or for the same university, cataloging a gift collection of thousands of score titles for strings.
